What started as a love for books has turned into a business I am so proud of and excited to have been able to bring together. I started with my Etsy shop and selling Blind Date with a Book options – these are my bestsellers! I didn’t expect them to take off the way they did. I saw the idea online and thought to myself – I can do that! I started selling them on my Etsy shop and to local friends and family.
I was then presented with an opportunity to open a booth inside an Antiques Market where I opened my first “book store”. People loved being able to go to a physical location where I sold New & Used books, Blind Date with a Books, books of all genres and for all ages, tote bags, hats, t-shirts, etc!
Later in the year I was able to open a second location where there are over 120 other local vendors who sell items too! The location and clientele of that location ended up being better for my business and I closed the original location. Now the booth is thriving and I have expanded my area to offer even more items!
